How to Create a Screaming Skrillex Lead in Massive

Welcome back!  Thanks for joining us here at Loop Galaxy.  Today we are going to look at how to create a screaming lead in the style of artists like Skrillex and Doctor P.  We’ll be using Native Instruments Massive but it’s possible to achieve similar results using other soft synths.

Summary

If you want to beef up this sound, try adding a bit crusher and some tube saturation.  If your bass sequence is alternating octaves, then you might want to add some Glide for a bit of flair and character as well.

Enjoy your new screaming lead!  We hope it helps you create some bangers!  Be sure to check back for more great info from LoopGalaxy.com!
