Gear up! Today we’ll learn how to create custom ringtones in Garageband. This is simple and very easy to do, so let’s get started.
Step 1 – Import the song you want to turn into a ringtone.
Step 2 – Choose the part of the song that you’d like to use in your ringtone.
You can do this by setting up your loop markers so they only capture the part you want to use.
Make sure your segment isn’t longer than 40 seconds and be sure to save your project.
Step 3 – Export to iTunes.
Next, export your ringtone to iTunes.
Step 4 – Sync your iPhone to iTunes
Click on the Ringtones section of your iTunes Library and select the ringtone you want to sync to your iPhone.
